Scarf done, now back to serious business!

It was a relief to finish the green scarf for my first client on Thursday. He is very excited and thinking about ordering his second one!

Got the best birthday present I can get on Friday-job offer from a firm in my local area (10 mins drive, yeah)! Starting tomorrow. I'm excited but also nervous. This will be my first proper job after studying xxx years!

Trying to finish off my pink baby blanket, I think it will take me a hundred years to finish it as now I have a full time job...

Tonight, I have a one hour speed reading to freshen up my memory on commercial property leasing, back to the old days....

Wish me luck!

Trip to Rochester airfield with hubby.

In order to log in more flying hours, I flew down to Rochester with Andrew for his meeting. It was good weather...people at the airfield were very friendly.

Not sure I am correct, but I think Rochester airfield is built in war times?! Saw a couple of world war planes....buildings are old and full of old planes pictures.

After Andrew left for his meeting, I'm sitting in the cafe for a 'nice' cup of tea, knitting a baby blanket away....

On the journey home, the weather wasn't as good as on the way there...all in all, still a good journey. And I managed to achieve quite a bit on the baby blanket.

My FIRST ever business...

Today, I received my first ever business!  Although it is just an order for a simple scarf, the sense of achievement is very strong.  I feel like my work has been approved.  I hope this is only the start of my business!

I have done a few photos editing (not my forte) for the products I am selling on Etsy.com.  I never thought selling products at home (wirelessly) will take so much time and afford!  Keep up the good work Phoebe!

Newbie

After all these years, I decided to have my own blog.

As to most people, I have a xanga account.  However, after a while, I gave up writing...probably just because my life is too boring - nothing to write about.

This time, I have create a blog to share what I like to do in my life...so there will be a lot of photos  of my lovely dogs and cats, also some of my knitting projects and some rewards from my veggie patch.

Hope you enjoy my blog!
